The story
Not just another repair shop
The repair industry has a transparency problem. Prices quoted on the phone change when you walk in. Parts are cheap but margins are high. Devices that could be repaired get written off because replacement is faster to quote.
Mendly was built to fix that — from Anzac Square, in the Brisbane CBD. We set our prices publicly, we explain every repair before we start, and we use parts we're willing to warrant for life.
The environmental side isn't a marketing add-on. Australia produces half a million tonnes of e-waste every year, and most of it is handled by a single national operator with very little accountability to the communities it serves. We're building a local alternative — a Brisbane-based recycling intake that keeps visibility and accountability close to home.
